Hamas vs Israel 2024. 8. 22. 04:52

Peace talk is in progress or in stall.

Can there be an agreed peace treaty between Hamas vs Israel ?

Hamas' eventual goal is eliminating Israel. Israel(at least their PM)'s goal is removing any arms capability of Hamas.

Hence, it is obvious why Hamas cannot agree to any peace deal with Israel.

Israel can agree to some peace deal with Hamas so long as their arms are removed permanently, which Hamas never agrees as Hamas' goal is removing Israel for good.

Right out of DNC, there are Pro-Hamas protesters who want a tangible (and agreeable) answer from DNC or Harris, claiming that they will support Trump otherwise. Do they really think they can get a better deal with Trump ? that is not my interest though. there's not much you can do to the stupids. (I do not claim Pro-Hamas protesters are stupid. The ones who expect any good from Trump is stupid, which is a fact)

that Tangible answer has to include something that Hamas can agree to: this means Israel will be removed on a certain fixed date. Say that can be done, will that stop every Muslim terrorism around the globe ? (Don't forget that Christians aren't any better here. Recollect Crusaders or modern Christian Militias) Well, the problem here is Muslims don't regard their terrorisms as terrorism but a Jihad, which is legit and favorable. Hence, they will never stop their Jihad no matter what until every infidels are eliminated, which is a favor to those infidels themselves. OK. Forget around the globe. around the Gaza strip. Hamas, unlike some think, is not one pact. it is a group of many hidden secret pacts, that aren't centrally controllable. Hence, whatsoever treaty won't satisfy everyone and the terrorism continues and some could agree that Israel's right-most PM could be right in that sense.

Flip the coin. If US can force Israel to agree on a deal to disarm Hamas on a certain fixed date, would that stop every terrorism that Israel is doing these days ? This can be at least enforced, by putting UN peace corp, for example.

If Hamas (or any Pro-Hamas group) does not like these reasoning, I recommend you need to build the trust around you. At the moment, the trust on Islamic Jihad groups cannot be worse to the west (primarily due to ISIS but Hamas is not that far from ISIS). Hence, the only way to build the trust is, denouncing every other Islamic Jihad groups and showing the steadfast adherence to that for quite a while. Until then, what you might claim would hardly be heard to the west. You don't care the west ? fine. you are back to day 0.

Shia or Sunni debate never provides us a clear dichotomy across Muslim world.
