CNN, do you support Russia in Russia's invasion on Ukraine ?

Your recent articles sounds so, especially related to Cluster Munitions.

In Absolutely all of your recent articles on cluster munitions provided by US to Ukraine, you seem to intentionally misrepresent as if US and Ukraine are bad guys and Russia is the victim.

 

Wrong.

 

There are two very important facts missing here:

1. Russia has been using Cluster Munitions for quite a while already in the entire Ukraine Theatre. Why you never criticize Russia for this at all ?

2. Russia's cluster munitions are so bad that around half of their sub-munitions are not detonated when they have to and turn into random landmines while US's cluster munitions mostly detonates and does not incur civilian casualties.

 

Taking the lines between #1 and #2, the entire combat zone between Russia and Ukraine are already covered by a significant number of Russian sub-munitions and the ramification of US's cluster munitions to civilians would be negligible if any.

 

Why do you repeatedly write about US's cluster munitions in Ukraine considering all these circumstances ? Press has to provide the audiences the truth. CNN intentionally bends the truth by telling only part of the facts. I'd like to hear more about your intent why.

 

CNN이 집속탄에 대해 쓴 최근 기사들을 보면 두가지 사실이 의도적으로 빠져있는 듯이 보인다. 그러고 보면 CNN이 실은 KGB의 앞잡이로 러시아를 지원하는 듯이 보인다. 뭐 돈이 생기면 뭐든지 한다는 건지. 빠진 두가지 사실은.. (이전 글에도 쓴 바있지만)

1. 러시아가 이미 전체 전장에 걸쳐서 집속탄을 사용하고 있다는 다수의 증거들이 있다는 거다. 그런데 CNN은 이런 증거들에 대해 단 한번도 러시아를 비난한 적이 없다. 아 물론 러시아를 비난할 거리는 차고도 넘치지만 딱 이것만 비난하지 않은 것은 매우 수상하다. 특히 CNN이 미국을 열심히 비난하고 있는 현재 상황에서 말이다.

 

2. 러시아의 집속탄은 자탄의 반 (대략 40% 정도라고 알려져 있지만 실제 숫자는 알 수 없다) 정도가 터져야 할때 터지지 않아서 지뢰같은 형태로 남아있게 된다고 한다. 이에 반해 미국제 집속탄은 대부분이 제대로 터져서 민간인 피해를 최소화 한다고 하지.

 

#1과 #2를 연결해서 보면 우크라이나 국내의 전체 전장에 걸쳐서 이미 러시아제 집속탄 자탄 (및 실제 지뢰)이 엄청나게 뿌려져 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 집속탄에 의한 민간인 피해는 러시아제 자탄들에 의해 이루어지지 미국제 자탄들에 의한 것은 무시할 만 할 것이라는 것을 알수 있다. 그러고보면 CNN은 왜 지금 미국제 집속탄에 대한 비난 기사를 쏟아내는지 이해가 안간다. 언론이란 것은 대중에게 진실을 전해야 한다. CNN은 사실의 일부만을 보도함으로써 진실을 의도적으로 왜곡하는 것처럼 보인다. 그 의도가 매우 궁금하다.
